Your day begins with hotel pick-up in Lisbon, where you will get acquainted with your private local guide before heading south to the stunning landscapes of Arrábida Natural Park. As you travel along gorgeous coastal roads, your guide will introduce you to the Setúbal Peninsula’s distinctive geography and local traditions. Your first stop is Cape Espichel, one of the most impressive viewpoints in the region, where dramatic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean.
You’ll continue to the charming fishing village of Sesimbra, known for its colourful harbour, sandy beach, and relaxed atmosphere. You’ll visit the historic Sesimbra Moorish Castle, perched high above the town. From within the castle walls, you can enjoy sweeping views over the coastline and surrounding countryside while learning about the region’s strategic importance throughout history. Following your visit, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch by the sea (lunch not included). Sesimbra is particularly known for its fresh seafood restaurants, and your guide will be happy to recommend authentic dining options to suit your preferences.
In the afternoon, your journey continues into the Setúbal wine region, where you’ll visit a local winery.
