The hike along the Diamond Head Summit Trail offers an invigorating yet accessible ascent, winding through sun-drenched slopes and historic tunnels all the way up to the rim of the crater. Along the way, your guide will reveal the fascinating geology of Lēʻahi, which is the Hawaiian name for Diamond Head, and how it was formed some 300,000 years ago by a single, explosive eruption.
